Brake Trainer
A training application for mastering brake modulation and release.
The Brake Trainer helps drivers train brake modulation and release, building dexterity in their feet so the technique becomes second nature. The idea came from using a basic version of this kind of tool at a driver training facility, and I set out to build a more complete, polished version.
It's designed first and foremost as a tool for real-world drivers, with a version for sim racers also on the roadmap. The Brake Trainer is the first piece of a planned suite of development applications for real-world driver training.

iRemoteCoach

My Role: Performance Coach & Engineer
iRemoteCoach is a remote driver coaching programme built around three pillars: mindset, psychology and vision. Most coaching starts with the lap time and works backwards. We start with the driver, helping them turn practice into lap time, stay consistent over a stint and perform under race-weekend pressure.
I coach alongside founder and head coach Neil Riddiford, who brings over 30 years of driver coaching experience and has supported drivers up to F1 and Formula E. My focus is the mindset and mental preparation side of performance, drawing on my background as an ex-F1 engineer, championship-winning driver and former F2 sim research test driver.
